How Do We Know if We're Being Haunted?

There are many characteristics of a haunting. We can be given signs through touch, smell, feelings, hearing noises etc. But how can we tell if we are actually being haunted, or if these are just elements in the environment causing such things? We always tell people to document certain experiences, occurrences and see how often they happen. Have you looked for a different explanation that could be causing these events? That is the first piece of advice we usually have for people, have you tried to debunk the noise you heard, or if you feel you were touched, was there anything in the area that could have "grazed" your arm. Now, if it's a full on grab, that would be different than a graze, and that would be harder to debunk.

Make sure before you claim something is paranormal that you research and document the activity. When I say research the activity, I mean research the location. Are there events that happened in history that could lead to a haunting? Even if there are not, it doesn't mean the location isn't haunted, but it may help you find some trigger points to communicate with the spirits that are inhabiting the location. If it is your home, we do not recommend that you start communicating right away, as that can open up a line of communication to other spirits to welcome themselves into your home. Or it could also increase the activity in your home, and some people do not want that.

If you feel you might be experiencing a haunting, reach out to us, we'd love to talk to you about it and help you!
